- 4 cups ready-to-use PUR chicken broth
- 4 onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Toasted baguette bread
- Grated Gruyère cheese
The steps
- In a saucepan, fry the onions in the butter until caramelized.
- Sprinkle with flour and stir.
- Slowly pour in the beef stock while stirring.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Pour soup into ovenproof bowls, top with toast and cheese.
- Toast in the oven until the cheese is melted and golden.
